Copywriter and hopeless nostalgist. Writing about old objects is a perfect fit for Daniel. The role even allows the south Londoner to make use of his Latin A-Level occasionally. Daniel brings 18 years’ writing employment to CollectorLabs.
Daniel has a strong grounding in history and the written word. He earned his degree in English and Classical Literature from the University of Birmingham, having previously enjoyed a work placement at London’s Imperial War Museum. Daniel also has a wealth of experience in major corporations, including Unilever, Ofcom and Metro Vancouver.
After work experience with Four Four Two magazine and the Jewish Chronicle, Daniel joined the online writing staff at Adfero in London. For two years Daniel regularly wrote 20+ news articles a day, on subjects as varied as electric cars, surfing competitions and treatments for Parkinson’s disease.
Daniel then made the move to multinational copywriting agency Lionbridge, where he provided content and editing for BT Global Services and Microsoft for three years.
Following more than a decade as copywriter and manager of Bristol memorabilia company Paul Fraser Collectibles, Daniel is delighted to be joining the team at CollectorLabs. He hopes to bring out the story behind every object we offer.
When not scribbling about the past, you’ll find Daniel playing tennis or coaching his son’s football team to mid-table respectability.
