Andy is a lifelong Ad Agency guy (35+ years), starting work as a junior designer aged 16. He has finally made the leap to client side. Living near the coast in Jersey, Channel Islands, he has a strong work ethic, hell bent on seeing projects succeed, alongside a work life balance of surfing. Apparently this keeps him sharp and helps him think clearly!
He is passionate about brands and delivering powerful messages through insightful marketing. Andy became Creative and Managing Director of Wallace Barnaby Jersey and White Knight Public Relations aged 42, an agency with a strong UK agency heritage. For the past 15 years Andy has successfully run his own agency, working on leading local and off island brands. At the start of 2023, Andrew was so excited about the CollectorLabs project, he jumped off his own ship, and joined the team.
Andy has worked in a wide variety of sectors, his key skills include: marketing strategy, brand positioning, launching new products, and motivating and managing teams – getting the very best out of an advertising agency and staff.
Andy is used to managing and developing large brands from creation to fulfilment on all media platforms including Web / Print / EDM / Radio / TV / Social Media. He understands the importance of strategic brand positioning and the power of Social Media and Public Relations within the marketing mix to deliver clear, focused, powerful messages in an appropriate tone of voice within the brand framework.
